FIFA World Cup Qatar tickets can be purchased and sold. The World Cup ticket resale platform has opened, which is wonderful news.
FIFA ticketing sets the ticket prices on the resale platform, which may be higher or lower than the initial price paid. It is open until the conclusion of the competition.
There are no assurances that the tickets will be resold, but if they are, there will be a resale fee of either QR2 or 5% of the original cost, whichever is higher, applied to each ticket. Refunds for purchased tickets will be processed in 30 business days.
A fee of QR2 or 5% of the total purchase price, whichever is greater, will be applied to individuals who buy tickets through the resale market.

Around 2.45 million tickets have already been sold for the event, which continues through the finish of the tournament.
During the first ticket resale period, which ran from August 2, 2022, at 11:00 CEST/ 12:00 (midday), through August 16, 2022, at 11:00 CEST/ 12:00 (midday), original ticket buyers had the option of listing some or all of their tickets for resale on the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform.
Tickets posted to the Resale Platform that have not been successfully resold by August 16, 2022, 11:00 CEST/ 12:00 (midday), Doha time, are still available for purchase from the original buyer through their ticketing account.
They must reassign them in order to keep them for their own or their visitors' usage.

A ticket confirmation email from FIFA Ticketing confirming the successful allocation of tickets to the ticket buyer will be provided following the purchase of a ticket on the FIFA Official Ticket Resale Platform. The information about the tickets or ticket items that have been purchased will be included in the email confirmation for the tickets.
The FIFA Ticketing must be able to resell the ticket to a buyer of resale tickets in order for the original buyer of a ticket purchased in accordance with the Online Ticket Terms of Sale for General Public (including a buyer of a ticket on the Resale Platform) to receive a refund of some or all of the money they paid for any such ticket they no longer wish to use for themselves or a guest.
Please be aware that FIFA Ticketing does not promise that any ticket posted to the resale platform will be successfully sold. When a ticket submitted to the resale platform by an original ticket buyer is finally listed there for prospective sale to a resale ticket buyer, FIFA Ticketing will decide in its sole discretion. Any costs or expenses incurred by an original ticket buyer as a result of their ticket not being successfully resold on the Resale Platform or if a ticket is not withdrawn sufficiently in advance of the relevant match for the ticket to grant access to the match stadium are not the responsibility of FIFA Ticketing.
